2D Proposal | New Ways of Painting
The 2D Proposal was complemented by two very brief pieces of text. One with the title of the piece, and another one with instructions and a subliminal reflection.
3D Proposal | Item Assembly
Processes
For the 2D proposal, both images were printed at a large scale and cut into four equal segments to then be pasted over wooden planks. As shown in the picture above.
These wooden planks were later on assembled with one another with glue and small triangles of wood to secure it all as a structure. As seen below,

As for the 3D proposal, each flag was measured a cut from a very large piece of white fabric, each flag had the standard dimensions of 60cm x 90cm,
For every flag I looked for the proportions online and made the respective calculations, some flags had to be modified to fit standard measures. To paint them, I marked with a pencil all of the shapes of each flag and covered the parts I didn't want to paint with tape. The painting was done with spray paint.
At last, each flag was pasted to a tube with glue and was left to dry for a whole night. The day after that, they were installed and arranged accordingly.
